Venaso Selections is a renovation company in Perth, first founded in 2011. What started as a small kitchen and bathroom renovation team, has grown into a holistic design studio, showroom, and construction team with more than 15 staff, more than 500 happy clients in Perth, and 220+ 5 star reviews on Google.

How We Started

Venaso was founded by Ben Shami, who started out in the tiling trade back in 2011. Frustrated by watching tradespeople show up and deliver unprofessional, corner-cutting work, Ben knew there had to be a better way.

Having grown up around renovations, he was inspired by his grandfather, a builder of many years, who instilled two non-negotiable values: always be honest, and always be on time. Ben saw a gap in the market. Too many clients were left disappointed by delays, unfinished jobs, and substandard work that turned their dream renovation into a nightmare. Something needed to change, and Venaso was born.

Venaso's Growth

Milan joined Venaso, originally as a Designer. With a background in Architecture and Design, Milan completed his Master’s studies and 5 years of practise in Europe. This experience offered an opportunity to combine design knowledge with practical experience while continuing to grow both professionally and personally.

Before joining Venaso, Milan worked as a draftsman in steel fabrication in Perth and also took on freelance design and drafting projects. These experiences built a strong foundation in technical design and problem-solving.

After two years with Venaso, Milan was running a large portion of the design work made the decision to buy into the business. Today, Milan and Ben work together in managing the day-to-day at Venaso and overseeing operations.

Our 3D kitchen modelling and design helps you envision your dream renovation before a single tile is laid, and we work with some of Australia’s most trusted names in renovation fittings, including Fienza, Caesarstone, ADP, Abey Australia, and Aulic. We can source and provide everything you need, from shower heads and kitchen taps to bathroom vanities and laundry cabinets – all of which are available for viewing at our showrooms in Booragoon and Subiaco.

We don’t believe in “cookie-cutter” designs; each build is unique, and we work with guaranteed timeframes and to your budget. Each project is treated with care and attention as if it were our very own home.
